The next event at Columbus Speedway will be Thursday night May 4th with Brown Engineering Thursday Night Thunder. The fast paced event will see only 3 classes in action in order to expedite the week night show. Fans will also be greeted with grandstand admission of only $7 with children ages 12 and under admitted free. Classes in action will be Rebel Challenge Super Late Models in a Rebel Challenge DOUBLE points event paying at least $1,200 to win for the 30-lap main event. Also in action will be both Open Wheel Modifieds and Late Model Stocks paying at least $600 to win. All classes will qualify.

The Super Late Model event will be the first of a tripleheader weekend tied in with the MSCCS event at North Alabama on Friday night and the MSCCS event at Pine Ridge on Saturday night. There is a $1,000 point fund for the three events that will pay 1-$500 2-$300 3-$200.
Thursday night event details have pit gates opening at 4pm with driver’s meeting at 7pm. Hot laps at 7:40 and qualifying at 8:00. Racing should roll off at 8:30pm. Adult grandstand admission is only $7 with children 12 and under admitted free. Pit passes are $25.
Columbus Speedway is closed Saturday night May 6th due to the Market Street Festival.
Racing action shifts to Magnolia Motor Speedway on Saturday night May 13th with the Southern Showdown featuring Rebel Challenge Super Late Model Topless Twin 25’s paying $1,500 to win each, plus an $800 Modified Championship and a $600 to win Late Model Stock Championship plus local divisions.
Action returns to Columbus Speedway May 20th with a Full Racing Program including Super Late Models, all local divisions, and bike races for the kids.
May 27th: Etheridge Race Parts Modified 4 Crown Series $1,000 to win plus Super Late Models and all local divisions.
